2 Quakes Shake California Desert Near Big Bear Lake North Of San Bernardino
MOUNTAIN VIEW (CBS SF) -- The USGS reported Saturday morning that 2 quakes measuring 4.6 and 4.4 on the Richter scale shook the region around Big Bear Lake northeast of San Bernardino.
The first quake occurred just before 10 a.m. PDT with an epicenter 7 miles WNW of Big Bear Lake.
The second quake struck nearby seconds later and was measured at 4.4.
No injuries have been reported.
