Public asked for help identifying woman found dead in San Francisco Tenderloin District

The public is being asked to help identify a woman who was found dead on Dec. 15 in the San Francisco Tenderloin District. 

She was a white woman, about 50 years old, with brown hair and brown eyes, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner said. She was 4 feet, 9 inches tall and weighed 147 pounds.

The medical examiner's office said she was found in front of 241 Jones Street, between Eddy and Turk streets. When she was found, she had her legs wrapped in multiple bandages. 

The cause of death is still being investigated.
