Powerful Magnitude 7.8 Aftershock Hits Chile Following Tuesday's Massive Quake
SANTIAGO, Chile (AP) -- USGS says powerful 7.8-magnitude aftershock rocks Chile's northern coast, day after 8.2 quake.
A magnitude 8.2 earthquake struck off the coast of Chile on Tuesday, killing at least six people.
That earthquake struck around 4:47 p.m. Pacific time, about 99 kilometers west of the port city of Iquique in northern Chile. Seismologists initially reported the earthquake was magnitude 8.0.
