Power Restored After Large Outage In San Francisco SoMa, Mission Bay

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Thousands of customers temporarily lost power in San Francisco's South of Market and Mission Bay area Thursday afternoon.

Pacific Gas & Electric reported the outage began at 2:55 p.m. and affected 5,060 customers.

As of 4:00 p.m., 2,900 customers remained without power, PG&E said.

Power was fully restored at around 5:00 p.m. The cause of the outage was not immediately known.
