Police Surround Vallejo Home In Apparent Standoff
VALLEJO (CBS SF) - Police surrounded a home in the 400 block of Woodrow Avenue in Vallejo Friday afternoon, according to a neighbor.
Police gathered outside a home on Woodrow Avenue and began addressing someone inside with a loudspeaker, telling them to come out, according to resident Arlene Patrick. The apparent standoff had been going on for around two hours, Patrick said when contacted shortly after 3:30 p.m.
Patrick said she did not know the neighbors who lived at the home in question, but described them as new and young. She said she had seen a number of people coming and going from the house.
There were no ambulances and Patrick had not seen anyone come out of the home or appear to be arrested.
Vallejo police did not return calls seeking further information.
