Police Say Kidnapped San Jose Girl Was Sexually Assaulted
SAN JOSE (KCBS)— San Jose Police are continuing their investigation into the kidnapping of an 11-year-old girl which prompted a statewide Amber Alert last Friday.
Police revealed on Monday that the girl was sexually assaulted by her mother's ex boyfriend, 42-year-old Tri Truong Le, in the time he had her.
Acting Deputy Police Chief Eddie Garcia also said that the pistol the suspect was using to shoot at police was firing blanks.

A SWAT team went to the 3400 block of Pistachio Drive on Friday afternoon, when they shot and killed the suspect and Taylor Vo, the victim was taken into custody.
San Jose Police Chief Chris Moore said there has been an "alarming" increase in the number of domestic violence incidents in the county.
"We need to refocus, redouble our efforts to make sure that we do our best to reduce it in this county," Moore said.
There were 10 domestic violence-related deaths last year in Santa Clara County.
