Police Investigating Armed Robbery At Belmont Bank
BELMONT (CBS SF) -- Police investigators are working with Citibank officials in Belmont to gather surveillance footage of an armed robbery that happened at the bank Friday night.
Belmont police responded to a robbery at the bank at 1888 Ralston Ave. at about 5:50 p.m.
Bank employees described the suspect as a thin, light-skinned man wearing a black ski mask, black jacket, dark jeans and black and white shoes.
The man had a black semi-automatic pistol when he demanded money, according to Belmont police.
After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect ran outside into a parking lot. The suspect may have been associated with a light blue car.
Police investigators are working with the FBI to develop additional leads.
