Police Investigate Stabbing At San Jose Park
SAN JOSE (BCN) -- Police are investigating a stabbing at a park in San Jose Wednesday night.
The stabbing was reported around 9 p.m. by San Jose State University police officers who found a 25-year-old man suffering from a stab wound by the Martin Luther King, Jr. Library, Officer Jose Garcia said.
The victim told officers he had walked to the campus from Plaza de Cesar Chavez Park, where an unknown man had stabbed him earlier that night.
He was transported to a local hospital. His injury was not considered life threatening, Garcia said.
Garcia said he did not know if the victim was a student at the university.
The stabbing is under investigation.
