Police Find Missing San Mateo Woman In San Jose
SAN MATEO (CBS SF) -- A 70-year-old woman who wandered away from a retirement community in San Mateo on Saturday was located in San Jose Sunday morning, police said.
Charulata Kapre was reported missing at about 9 p.m. Saturday after she hadn't been seen at her room at FountainGlen at the Villa four about five hours, according to San Mateo police.
A woman matching Kapre's description was seen in east San Jose early Sunday morning, and she was later found and reunited with her family.
Kapre was not injured, and police did not say how she traveled
from San Mateo to San Jose.
