Poisonous Swimming Snakes From South Seas Found On California Beaches
OXNARD (CBS) -- Extremely venomous snakes are washing up onto California beaches and some scientists say El Niño may be to blame.
The yellow-bellied sea snakes are normally found in the South Pacific and off the coast of Mexico and Costa Rica.
Anna Iker snapped a photo a sea snake Thursday at Silver Strand beach in Oxnard while she was watching her kids play in the water.
