Woman With Threatening Note Robs Chase Bank In Pinole
PINOLE (CBS SF) -- A female suspect robbed a Chase Bank in Pinole on Wednesday evening using a threatening note, according to police.
At 5:53 p.m., Pinole police responded to the bank at 1541 Fitzgerald Drive based on reports of a robbery.
Although the suspect had already fled, officers learned that a woman came into the bank and presented a demand note to one of its tellers.
The demand note apparently suggested that if the teller did not forfeit money, someone in the bank would be harmed as a repercussion. Police said the teller gave an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect, who did not appear to have a weapon.
No one was injured during the incident. Police described the suspect as a white woman in her late 20s to early 30s who stands at 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds.
