Pinole Police Say Man Tried To Abduct 2 Sisters
PINOLE (AP) -- Pinole police are looking for a man described as having a missing tooth and a gray goatee after they say he tried to abduct two young girls Friday afternoon.
Pinole police say that two sisters—a 10- and 5-year-old—were approached by the man in a green Jeep as they walked their dog around 4 p.m. Friday.
Police Sgt. Timothy Cauwels told the Contra Costa Times the man reached out and grabbed the younger girl's shirt. After her older sister was able to pull her free, the two girls ran home, while the man drove away.
They girls were not hurt.
