PG&E To Perform Hydrostatic Test On Menlo Park Gas Pipeline
MENLO PARK (CBS SF) -- Pacific Gas & Electric will be venting natural gas from a pipeline in the Menlo Park area Monday at 10 a.m. in preparation for hydrostatic pressure testing, county officials said Sunday.
Homes and businesses in the area of Sandhill Road and Branner Drive may smell some natural gas during the process, but service will not be interrupted and the smell should dissipate quickly, according to the San Mateo County Office of Emergency Services.
Anyone with concerns about natural gas odors in or around their home or business should call 1 (800) 743-5000 so that PG&E can determine the cause.
