PG&E Performs Pressure Test On Belmont Gas Pipeline
BELMONT (CBS SF) - PG&E officials want Belmont residents to know that if they smell gas Wednesday, it's not an emergency. The smell is coming from crews working on a pipeline on Ralston Avenue.
In preparation for a pipeline test, crews planned to purge gas from a pipeline at Ralston Avenue near Interstate Highway 280 and state Highway 92 from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
PG&E officials were alerting neighbors that there will be an odor of gas as crews work on the line.
