Petaluma Man Arrested For Walnut Creek Burglary
WALNUT CREEK (CBS SF) -- A Petaluma man has been arrested on suspicion of trying to steal a motorcycle from a Walnut Creek home, police said Saturday.
A homeowner on Holland Circle returned home Friday at 11:45 p.m. to find a man in her garage trying to steal a motorcycle.
The suspect fled when she confronted him. The woman called the Police Department and followed the suspect's vehicle, according to police.
Officers were able to catch up with the suspect's vehicle in Pleasant Hill and take him into custody.
The suspect, Kyle Gingras, 25, is being held at the Martinez Detention Facility. His bail was set at $50,000.
