Petaluma Jewel Thieves Caught On Surveillance Camera

PETALUMA (CBS SF) - Police in Petaluma are asking for the public's help in identifying three masked suspects who broke into a jewelry store in the city earlier this month.

The burglars broke a front window of Hollingsworth Jewelers Gallery at 5 Petaluma Blvd. N. at 5:45 a.m. on April 12, according to Petaluma police.

The suspects entered the store and smashed several glass display cases and stole an unspecified amount of jewelry, police said.

Investigators released images Sunday of the suspects obtained from the store's video surveillance.

The three burglars are believed to have fled the area in a newer white 4-door Nissan Maxima or Altima with tinted windows, police said.

Anyone able to identify the suspects or who has knowledge of the crime is encouraged to contact Petaluma police Officer Mike Pierre at (707) 778-4372.
