Pedestrian Hit By Car Near SF's Alamo Square
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - A male pedestrian was taken to a hospital after being struck by a car near San Francisco's Alamo Square Wednesday morning, San Francisco fire department spokeswoman Mindy Talmadge said.
The accident was reported at 7:03 a.m. at the intersection of Divisadero and Fell streets.
The pedestrian was in a crosswalk when a driver traveling north on Divisadero Street turned left onto Fell Street and struck him, San Francisco police spokesman Officer Albie Esparza said.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with officers, he said.
The pedestrian's injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, Talmadge said.
