Paris Hilton To Release 2nd Album On Cash Money Records

(KBCW/CBS NEWS) - Paris Hilton is venturing into the music industry once again. The hotel heiress is currently working on her sophomore album, the follow-up to 2006's "Paris."

Showbiz 411 recently caught up with the reality TV star, who said she has inked a deal with Cash Money Records for an album, expected out this summer. She plans to team with producer Afrojack, as well as hip-hop acts, including Lil Wayne.

"This is a lot different than my first album. It's really going to be house music," Hilton, 32, said.

Afrojack told Billboard, "She's been going out to raves for 15 years she told me -- ever since she was a little kid -- and she loves dance music, so I gave her some dance tracks."

Hilton's debut album, released on Warner Bros., featured the single "Stars are Blind" and peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard chart.

Hilton's other business are apparently doing well. "I'm getting ready to launch my 17th perfume," she said. "And I'm also starting the Paris Hilton Foundation for children's causes." Hilton said she's doing "great," noting, "I just want to have the best life possible."
