Orinda College Student Dies Outside Cal Poly San Luis Obispo Dorm
SAN LUIS OBISPO (CBS/AP) -- A California central coast university sophomore has died outside a campus residence hall at California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo.
University police responding to an emergency call late Saturday found 20-year-old Brandon Huang unresponsive outside the Poly Canyon Village residence hall.
He was apparently returning to the residence hall, which houses 2,700 people.
The Tribune of San Luis Obispo said Huang was pronounced dead at Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center. Huang is a biology major who lived in Orinda.
Cal Poly vice president for student affairs says the cause of death hasn't been determined.
