Oregon Defeats Cal 35-7, Riley Injured
CORVALIS (AP) - Jacquizz Rodgers threw for a touchdown before running for three more and Oregon State defeated California 35-7 on Saturday.
Rodgers rushed for 119 yards for the Beavers (4-3, 3-1 Pac-10), who led 28-0 at the half.
California (4-4, 2-3) was stung in the first quarter when quarterback Kevin Riley injured his left knee and had to be helped off the field. The nature of his injury was not immediately released.
Riley did not return and was replaced by backup Brock Mansion.
Cal has lost six straight games on the road, a streak dating back to last season. The Golden Bears have lost four straight to the Beavers.
