Online Seller Robbed, Shot, Killed By Suspect Posing As Buyer In San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- San Francisco police said a man was robbed and killed Sunday afternoon after arranging online to sell an electronic gaming device.
The fatal shooting occurred Sunday around 3:30 p.m. near Bayshore Boulevard and Jerrold Avenue, according to police Officer Albie Esparza.
The victim had agreed to meet with the suspect to sell an electronic gaming device, but the suspect allegedly robbed and then shot him several times, Esparza said.
The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital and pronounced dead there a short time later, Esparza said.
No suspect description was available, Esparza said. The victim was in his early 20s.
