Oakland Police Respond To Possible Kidnapping

OAKLAND (AP) -- Police are looking for a woman they think may have been kidnapped from an Oakland apartment complex.

Oakland Police Department spokeswoman Holly Joshi said witnesses reported seeing two men chase the unidentified woman down and corner her inside the building, then assault and force her into a car just before 10:30 p.m. Saturday.

Neither she nor her suspected abductors had been located by Sunday afternoon.

Anyone seeing the car is asked to call 911. It is a black 1999 Chrysler, license plate 6JFG056.
