Oakland Police Arrest 2 For Armed Robbery
OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- Oakland police arrested two people in connection with an armed robbery Thursday.
An armed robbery in progress was reported around 7:15 p.m. in the 2900 block of Foothill Boulevard, according to police.
Officers spoke to four victims, who had been robbed by two armed suspects. The suspects fled in a vehicle, the witnesses told police.
Police stopped a suspect vehicle on northbound Interstate Highway 880 shortly after 7:35 p.m. and arrested two people in connection with the armed robbery, police said.
Some items taken in the robbery were recovered, along with a firearm, police said.
