Oakland Coliseum Prepares For U2's 360 Tour

OAKLAND (LIVE 105/CBSSF) - Before Bono and crew hit the stage at the hugely anticipated U2 360 concert at the Overstock.com Coliseum  aka Oakland Coliseum (yes finally, after waiting two years for the show to arrive in the Bay Area!) . . . we have a behind-the-scenes tour of what it takes to put on a massive rock show.  According to U2′s tour director, the 360 Tour is the BIGGEST TOUR EVER to tour in the history of rock and roll.  The tour producer, Craig Evans, stated that the epic world tour is bringing "numbers that the music industry has never seen" before!

The tour started two years ago and was put on hold when Bono was injured and underwent back surgery.  Now the band is back in action and has played 47 shows since getting back on tour.   But what does it take to put on one of these shows, featuring a custom-built 360-degree stage, 300 tons of lights, videos and special effects, and a fulltime traveling crew the size of a small Irish village? Take a look at the U2 Behind the Scenes Photo Gallery and find out!
