North Richmond Man Carjacked In Front Of Home
NORTH RICHMOND (CBS SF) -- A North Richmond resident was carjacked by two armed men in the driveway of his home Tuesday morning, a Contra Costa County sheriff's spokesman said.
Around 8:40 a.m., a man who lives in the 1700 block of Truman Street flagged down a sheriff's deputy to report that he had just been carjacked, sheriff's spokesman Jimmy Lee said.
The victim said he had just returned home and parked his gray 2007 Chevy Tahoe in the driveway when two suspects approached him and demanded his car keys and cash, Lee said.
The man told the deputy that the suspects were armed and forcibly stole the car, according to Lee.
Officers from several law enforcement agencies searched the area but were unable to locate the car or the suspects.
