No Charges For SF Firefighter Arrested For DUI, Injuring Motorcyclist
SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) -- Prosecutors say no charges will be filed for now against a San Francisco firefighter who was arrested on suspicion of DUI last weekend.
43-year-old Michael Quinn was arrested after a crash between a motorcycle and the fire truck Quinn was driving.
The wreck happened late Saturday night at Fifth and Howard streets in the city's South of Market neighborhood. The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries, but is expected to survive.
Quinn was arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of DUI and leaving the scene of a collision. He has since been released.
