Nicki Minaj Surprises Young YouTube Stars
SAN BRUNO (CBS SF) - San Bruno based YouTube, is considered the new staging ground for future talents. Without YouTube, we may not have ever heard of artists like Rebecca Black or mega teen sensation, Justin Bieber. Nor would we have coined the term "viral" to describe videos viewed around the world like Volkswagon's "Little Darth Vader" commercial, which to date has been viewed over 40 Million times.
In the case of young Sofia Grace Brownlee and her 5 year old cousin Rosie, their viral video performance of rap superstar Nicki Minaj "Super Bass" has spread like wildfire all throughout YouTube. So much so, Ellen Degeneres invited the adorable duo to her show to perform Minaj's Top 40 hit. Little did they know that Degeneres also invited Nicki Minaj to the show to surprise Sofia and Rosie. 'Surprise' maybe an understatement judging by their reaction. Could Sofia be the next Nicki Minaj? With YouTube, anything is possible.
