Nicki Minaj Gets The Cover Of Billboard
SAN FRANCISCO (MOViN 99.7/CBS) - Nicki has been getting a lot of press coverage the last few weeks leading up to the release of Pink Friday, including some from Billboard! They covered what led up to the album and even compared her to another controversial pop-star!
Nickles AKA Nicki Minaj was said to be the Lady Gaga up Hip Hop in this weeks Billboard. Both artist have taken on the theatrical side of their genre of music and stir a lot of things up in the process! The two also share the MAC makeup endorsement; Nicki plans on releasing a new line with the company soon! Billboard also got Nicki talking about how she's not trying to be associated with JUST "New York Rap," claiming she was pushed towards that sound. She'd much rather be more universal and she shows that off in the upcoming album with her "alter ego's" used in different songs. She also gets into her life before rap, admitting she had a tough time working anywhere else! Nicki's had a pretty crazy year leading up to Pink Friday, working with artist from Kanye to Rihanna.
