First 2 Weeks Of Season For NHL, Sharks Cancelled Amid Player Lockout
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- On Thursday, the National Hockey League announced the first round of cancellations to the regular-season schedule, nixing the first two weeks of the season due to the lack of a new collective bargaining agreement with the NHL Players' Association.
This cancellation affects the following scheduled San Jose Sharks games: Oct. 12 @ Anaheim, Oct. 15 home vs. New York Rangers, Oct. 18 home vs. Edmonton, Oct. 20 home vs. Carolina, Oct. 24 @ Colorado.
