NFL Fines Seahawks, Coach For violating Offseason Workout Rules
SEATTLE (CBS SF) - The Seattle Seahawks have been fined $300,000 and forced to forfeit two days of 2015 offseason practice for allowing too much contact during workouts earlier this year.
NFL.com reports that the team and Coach Pete Carroll were hit with the penalty for allowing excessive levels of on-field contact, a violation of the league's collective bargaining agreement.
Carroll and the team were also fined an undisclosed amount in 2012 for a similar violation.
