Newark Woman Allegedly Rams Car With Husband, Other Woman Inside
NEWARK (CBS SF) - A Newark woman was arrested this week after she allegedly rammed a car that she had seen her husband getting into with another woman, police said.
Estella Pinto, 39, saw her husband getting into a car with another woman in the parking lot of the Goodtimes Lounge, at 36601 Newark Blvd. in Newark, and allegedly decided to pursue the vehicle, according to police.
She allegedly struck the car, causing it to hit a parked car, before fleeing the scene.
The other woman suffered a leg injury in the crash, while Pinto's husband left the scene.
Pinto and her car were later located at the Bridgeport Apartment complex, at 36826 Cherry St., and arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and domestic violence, police said.
The husband was located in East Palo Alto, and police described him as "extremely uncooperative."
