Netflix, Kevin Spacey Upstage GOP Debate With 'House Of Cards' Return Date Announcement
LOS GATOS (CBS SF) -- Netflix's popular political drama House of Cards took an opportunity to upstage the GOP debate Tuesday night by announcing the show's return date for its next season.
"America, I'm only getting started," fictional Presidential candidate Frank Underwood, played by Kevin Spacey, announces in an ad that aired during the debate on CNN.
The ad plays out much like a real political campaign ad, with clips of picturesque skylines, construction workers on the job, and military personnel on duty.
House of Cards returns to Netflix March 4th for its new season.
