Alert Neighbor Helps Police Arrest Sausalito Burglary Suspect
SAUSALITO (CBS SF) -- An alert neighbor helped police arrest a residential burglary suspect during a traffic stop in Sausalito on Tuesday, a police lieutenant said Wednesday.
The neighbor saw someone carrying a computer out of a Cloud View Road home on Saturday, Sausalito police Lt. Kurtis Skoog said.
When the male suspect saw the witness, he covered his face and ran to a waiting vehicle, Skoog said.
The neighbor was able to get a description of the vehicle and its license plate number and called police.

Officer Brandon Rodgers spotted the suspect vehicle, a silver BMW sedan, driving north on Second Street toward Bridgeway around 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, Skoog said.
Officers stopped the car and contacted Stephen Bonner-Hall, 19, of Marin City, who later admitted he was involved in the burglary, according to Skoog.
Bonner-Hall was booked into Marin County Jail under $50,000 bail on suspicion of burglary. Police are trying to recover two computers and a camera that were taken from the home, Skoog said.
