Nas & Lauryn Hill To Perform Full Albums At 'Rock The Bells'
MOUNTAIN VIEW (CBS) - The Rock the Bells hip-hop festival is back in the Bay Area on August 27th at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View. And this year's line-up is huge. Headliners performing full albums include Lauryn Hill ("The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill"), Mobb Deep ("The Infamous"), Nas ("Illmatic"), Cypress Hill ("Black Sunday") and Raekwon ("Only Built 4 Cuban Linx" with Ghostface Killah).
Other headliners include Mos Def & Talib Kweli Are Black Star and Erykah Badu.

In a statement on the Rock the Bells website, Nas said, "For years people have been asking me to do 'Illmatic' in so many ways, from stage plays to movies to books, but the time wasn't right. Where music is going now, the time is right."
The festival has four dates in four cities this year. The dates are:
- Aug. 20 - San Bernardino, Calif., San Manuel Amphitheater
- Aug. 27 - Mountain View, Calif., Shoreline Amphitheatre
- Sept. 3 - New York, N.Y., Governor's Island
- Sept. 10 - Boston, Mass.
Pre-sale tickets are available starting June 3rd with general sales beginning June 4th.
