Napa Police ID Person Of Interest In Homicide
NAPA (CBS SF) -- Investigators have determined a person of interest in the Friday afternoon homicide of a 51-year-old man in Napa, according to Napa police.
Paramedics were called to a medical emergency in the 100 block of Almond Avenue at 4:13 p.m. When paramedics arrived on scene the victim, identified as Robin Ward, was deceased and the circumstances surrounding his death were deemed unusual, police said.
Napa police investigators determined the death was a homicide. The Napa County Major Crimes Task Force took over the investigation and investigators are conducting interviews of potential witnesses, police said.
The witness interviews have resulted in a person of interest, who may be responsible for Ward's death, police said.
Police have not released the cause of Ward's death nor the person of interest identified in the case.
