NAPA (CBS SF) - A Napa man who was injured when he jumped out of the trunk of a moving vehicle during an alleged kidnapping Thursday afternoon was in stable condition at Queen of the Valley Medical Center, hospital spokeswoman Vanessa deGier said.
Shane Michael Newhouse, 40, jumped out of the trunk of a green Ford sedan in the area of Soscol Avenue near Napa State Hospital around 3:30 p.m. and ran through traffic claiming he had been kidnapped, Napa police Capt. Jeff Troendly said.
