3 Mountain View Teens Arrested For Making Social Media Threats
MOUNTAIN VIEW (CBS SF) – Police arrested three Mountain View High School students Monday on suspicion of making threats to the school via social media, police said.
The three allegedly posted the threats to harm students and staff Sunday evening and were brought in for questioning by police Monday morning.
They were arrested after talking to officers, said Mountain View police spokeswoman Katie Nelson.
The specific threats that were made, the social media sites used and the names of the suspects were not released.
Nelson said the threats were not clown-related.
