Mountain Lion Spotted In Petaluma Near Highway 101
PETALUMA (BCN) -- Petaluma police are investigating a confirmed sighting of a mountain lion seen east of U.S. Highway 101 and south of Corona Road late Tuesday.
According to a 10:20 p.m. news release, emergency crews were in the area attempting to locate the animal. On Wednesday morning, the mountain lion was reportedly seen west of Hill Blvd.
Police urge anyone who sees the mountain lion to not approach the animal and to call 9-1-1.
