Motorcycle Crash On Bay Bridge Snarls Commute Into San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- All lanes of the upper deck of the Bay Bridge were cleared Friday morning after a motorcycle crash snarled westbound traffic on the bridge, a California Highway Patrol officer said.
The crash was reported at 6:30 a.m. near the on-ramp to Treasure Island and was apparently caused by the drive shaft from a big-rig that fell onto the roadway in the path of a motorcyclist, CHP Officer James Evans said.

The motorcyclist suffered minor injuries in the crash, Evans said.
The crash blocked three middle lanes on the upper deck of the bridge until 7:12 a.m., when all lanes were cleared, Evans said.
