Mother Held At Gunpoint While Kids Watch During Violent Fremont Home Invasion Robbery; 4 Arrested
FREMONT (CBS SF) -- Four suspects in a violent crime spree in Fremont have been arrested, according to police.
The suspects began their alleged crime spree with a residential burglary in the 5900 block of Via Lugano in the north end of the city, in which jewelry and electronics were stolen.
About thirty minutes later, the four suspects armed with handguns entered a residence occupied by a female and her two young children. One suspect held the woman down at gunpoint while the other three suspects ransacked the residence.
Both children, under the age of six witnessed the attack on their mother as the suspects were in the home for over ten minutes.
Jewelry, credit cards, and electronic items were stolen from that residence.
Three men, and a teenage boy were taken into custody and arrested during a traffic stop on I-880.
