Most Popular Halloween Costumes Of 2011
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - Haven't squared away your costume for Halloween this year? With the big dress-up day just around the corner, KCBS' Anna Duckworth discovered that the most popular costume is "Angry Birds," where the costume is just as popular as the game itself.
Spirit Store Manager, Chris Eldridge said older kids still love scary costumes like "Ghost Face" from the movie "Scream." Eldridge also said that the big costume for men is "Charlie Sheen." For women, it's between pop star Katy Perry, rap star Nicky Minaj and Glee's "Sue Sylvester.
Eldridge also said that it makes sense in a down-economy, that the National Retail Federation expects a 9 percent jump over last year, in what the average American will spend on costumes, decorations and candy.
