More Than 100 Arrested At Mountain View Rave
MOUNTAIN VIEW (KPIX 5) -- Police arrested more than 100 people, mostly for drug offenses and drunkenness at a weekend rave in Mountain View.
Mountain View Police Lieutenant Chris Hsiung said most of those arrested at the Beyond Wonderland concert were charged with furnishing or using illegal drugs such as Ecstasy, LSD and the stimulant GHB.
Police also arrested some people for drunkenness and others wanted on outstanding warrants.
Hsiung said no major medical emergencies were reported at the concert at Shoreline Amphitheater, where about 40,000 electronic music fans gathered over two days.
Police reported receiving over 110 noise complaints from neighbors in the area.
"The beat just drives me crazy. Boom boom boom," said Robert Nissing.

Another neighbor told KPIX 5 he had never heard the music that loud.
