Images Released, Reward Offered In Killing Of Milpitas 7-Eleven Worker
MILPITAS (CBS SF) - An employee at a Milpitas 7-Eleven store who was shot dead early Saturday morning during a robbery has been identified as 67-year-old Mohammad Reza Sadeghzadeh, according to police.
Police were called to the store at 1496 N. Milpitas Blvd. shortly before 2:15 a.m. on a report of an injured employee, according to Sgt. Huy Tran.
Officers found Sadeghzadeh with a gunshot wound and he was declared dead at the scene.
Sadeghzadeh, of Milpitas was employed as the night clerk at the 7-Eleven, police said.
Video surveillance from the store revealed that three men, armed with handguns entered the store wearing black hooded sweatshirts and confronted Sadeghzadeh.
The first suspect was wearing blue jeans and a white mask. The second suspect, a light-skinned man, was wearing blue jeans and a black mask. The third suspect, a black man, was wearing black pants and black and white gloves, according to police.
7-11 Inc. is offering a $10,000 reward to anyone who provides information leading to the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible for the homicide, according to police.
