Michael Douglas' Health 'Precarious' Says Oliver Stone
BERLIN (CBS/ AP) - Director Oliver Stone says Michael Douglas' "precarious" state of health prevented the actor from taking part in a European tour to promote their film "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps."
Stone said Tuesday in Berlin he is worried about the health of the actor, who is battling throat cancer in an advanced stage.

He said Douglas, who reprised his role as stock trader Gordon Gekko in Stone's latest movie, was meant to accompany him on the promotion tour in Europe.
But Stone said Douglas is still "suffering" and remained in the U.S. for further cancer treatments.
The 65-year-old Douglas said in August he is battling throat cancer, but he attended the film's premiere in New York three weeks ago and has been photographed around the city, including taking his children to school.
Stone's newest film is a sequel to 1987's "Wall Street,'' for which Douglas won an Academy Award.
