Media Swarms Harbaugh, Kaepernick Before Flight To Atlanta
SANTA CLARA (KCBS)— San Francisco 49ers' team leaders remained calm even though they fly to Atlanta on Friday ahead of Sunday's NFC Championship game. Coach Jim Harbaugh described the last few practices as "outstanding." He said the team is determined, focused and ready for Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons.
They acted like they'd just finished any old 49ers practice when Harbaugh and quarterback Colin Kaepernick met with the media Friday morning at their Santa Clara training facility.

Harbaugh told reporters, being on the cover of Sports Illustrated is nice, when they asked him about the media hype surrounding the team and its young quarterback sensation. He also assured it doesn't change anything about the job ahead for the team.
When asked about his propulsion to stardom these past few months, Kaepernick said he didn't reflect on it much.

"I don't have time to stop and think right now. There's too much work to be done," he said.
One reporter even snuck in a question on the quarterback's diet and Kaepernick admitted he's eating a lot of Five Guys, a popular hamburger joint, these days.
