After just six months of dating, reports are surfacing that Ian Somerholder and Nikki Reed are engaged!

E! News was the first to break the news, stating that the 36-year-old Vampire Diaries star popped the question to the 26-year-old Twilight actress over Christmas.
"They're so happy" an insider told E! "They were crazy happy from the start. Their families love each other. It just feels really right."
Rumors of their engagement first started over the weekend when Reed was spotted at the Golden Globes wearing a diamond band on her finger – though it was on her right hand.
According to InTouch Weekly, the ring swap was a strategic move made by the power couple in an attempt to keep their pending nuptials a secret.
"Nikki said she wears the ring on her right hand because they want to keep it quiet for now," a source explained to the gossip mag. "They mentioned a June date, they are really excited."
The duo was also spotted ring shopping at New Stone Age in Los Angeles earlier this month.
