Maxim Unveils Hot 100 List
(CBS NEWS) - It's getting hot in here, and Miley Cyrus should know -- she topped Maxim's 2013 Hot 100 list.
The 20-year-old starlet claimed the No. 1 slot this year, followed by Selena Gomez, Rihanna, Mila Kunis and Jennifer Lawrence on Maxim's picks for the sexiest women in the world.
Rounding out the Top 10 were Jennifer Love Hewitt, Ashley Tisdale, Kate Upton, our own Salinas-born Vanessa Hudgens and Elisha Cuthbert.
Before the official tally came out, Cyrus leaked the news on her Twitter page. She told the magazine, "It feels amazing to be No. 1. Especially because it was voted on by the fans. I have the best fans in the world! It's every woman's fantasy to be told she's No.1 on Maxim's Hot 100! So crazy!"
Last year, Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli was No. 1 on Maxim's list. Cyrus, meanwhile, ranked No. 68 in 2012, so she made quite the jump. Over the past year, she continued to lose her "Hannah Montana" image, sporting a slinkier wardrobe and a shorter, edgier haircut.
