Martinez Crash Leaves Driver Dead
MARTINEZ (BCN) - The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash in unincorporated Contra Costa County near Martinez Sunday morning.
Officers responded to reports of a vehicle that spun out and crashed about six feet off Alhambra Valley Road near Deodora Way around 11:45 a.m., CHP Officer Anderson said.
Paramedic units on scene have confirmed that the driver of the vehicle was killed in the crash, Anderson said.
There were no reports of passengers in the vehicle and no evidence that another vehicle might have been involved.
The crash is still under investigation.
