Marin County Driver Arrested For DUI After Power Pole Crash
MARIN (CBS SF) -- The driver of a vehicle was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after a traffic collision in unincorporated Marin County early Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP received a report of a vehicle off the roadway and glass in the road around 12:22 a.m. near the intersection of Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Drakes View Drive in Point Reyes Station.
The vehicle struck a power pole and the driver did not cooperate with the investigation, according to the CHP.
The driver was restrained to a gurney and placed under arrest, a CHP officer said.
The driver was transported to Marin General Hospital and the extent of his injuries and the cause of the collision has not been released, according to the CHP.
