Many Airlines Waive Fees For Rescheduled Flights To And From SFO
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Many airlines are waiving fees to reschedule travel for customers whose flights were cancelled or delayed after the deadly Asiana Airlines Flight 214 crash on Saturday.
Companies including American Airlines, Delta, Virgin, Southwest and Jetblue are giving customers the chance to make a one-time ticket change at no cost if their flights to or from San Francisco International Airport were cancelled or delayed.
The waived fees generally apply to guests with confirmed flights scheduled to depart from or arrive in San Francisco between Saturday and Monday.

Travelers are advised to call their airline company for the latest update on flight delays or cancellations or to reschedule flights.
Hundreds of passengers were diverted to other California airports, including Oakland International Airport and San Jose International Airport.
Meanwhile, many were left stranded following the Asiana Air crash around 11:30 a.m. Saturday, which killed two passengers and injured more than 180.
All flights in and out of SFO were cancelled in the hours following the crash, although two runways have since reopened.
